Hi! I just got home.

After class, I decided to go home immediately. Lately, school has been making me sick. I don’t know why.

On my way home, I realized I haven’t eaten anything yet. I wanted to have Chicken Joy for dinner, just because I miss it. Then all of a sudden, I craved for ice cream. I don’t know why, maybe my body just wanted something cold yet sweet.

I was finding it very difficult to choose which to give up. Oh life, why do you always have to remind me that I will never have the best of two worlds? Jollibee is miles away from Rustan’s. Okay, that was kind of exaggerated but fine, I’m lazy like that.

So umm have you experienced times when other people do the deciding for you? Well, what happened a while ago was something like that—a lady had to alight at Rustan’s.

And so, I bought ice cream. On my way out, I remembered that Ken Afford’s Chicken Lollipops is delicioso. FYI Ken Afford is just a few cartwheels from Rustan’s.

While waiting for my food, I asked a Kuya for a spoon then feasted on my pint of Arce Dairy Macapuno con Nanca. Yummy.

As I was walking to the tricycle terminal, I bumped into Reyvan. He asked me what I was doing there and who I was with. I said I just bought food and I was by my lonesome. Then he dropped the bomb: “Ang emo mo naman.” I zoned out. And in an attempt to return to consciousness, I just replied “Di ah.”

I know my life and I haven’t been what they used to be a few months ago. Cliche as it may sound, but yeah, things change.

I am wondering though. If things change, does it mean every single thing changes? Does everything have to change? And is changing as things change a must? Is it a mechanism for survival? Or is it just the way things go or have to go?

I can always claim that I got better EQ than IQ. Or not. HAHA. But whichever the case is, I am definitely sure that no matter how irrational I am, always try to be sensible and reasonable.

No, I am not disturbed. And no, I am not going through a crisis.

I would like to believe that what I just need is more time for reflection, meditation, and realization. Maybe, if I do that I will be able to answer these questions which I have posed.

Am I really that emo? If I am, is that good? What are the possible implications?
